MIRADRAIN - DRAINAGE COMPOSITE

Why You Should Choose This Aggregate-Free Drainage Systems

Having good water drainage is very important for a complete waterproofing system, but is often overlooked. CCW has a large range of drainage solutions to meet just about any project’s requirements. CCW products will give you a channel for water movement, relieve hydrostatic pressure, and protect your waterproofing system. CCW products will replace much heavier standard drainage systems which will reduce the weight and cost for shipping.

The Improvements Made For A Good Drainage System

Drainage is an important part of the design and construction of below-grade applications. Without good drainage, groundwater can seep and cause hydrostatic pressure along with leakage which will cause structural damage. Good, effective drainage is essential. It can be costly and time-consuming installing standard aggregate drainage systems that force builders and designers to compromise on drainage. Compromising can easily lead to maintenance costs that far exceed the costs of installing an efficient drainage system.

The Evolution Of The Building Industry

In 1983, MiraDrain revolutionized the building industry by providing cost-efficient, high drainage capacity, and prefabricated drainage compounds. Each panel is made of a uniquely molded three-dimensional dimpled core formed from high-impact polystyrene. The high quality, crush-resistant core is laminated to filter fabrics or geotextiles, that will prevent soil particles from entering the drainage channels. The essentially bonded core and fabric systems will prevent backfill from pushing the fabric into the flow channels. Due to the unique design of CCW drainage flow capacities of the aggregate-free system are 3 to 5 times more effective than your standard aggregate systems.

Very High-Quality Performance

Since its first presence on the scene, one-half billion square feet of this drainage composites have been installed all around the world without any failures. CCW’s multi-directional flow design offers a continuous path for water drainage which eliminates the potential for hydrostatic pressure buildup. It allows water paths to freely pass into the drainage core where gravity brings it down to the foundation drainage system. The dimpled flow channels are covered with a filter fabric that faces the soil while the flat backside of the core fits directly against the wall surface. This provides maximum effectiveness with a wide range of waterproofing systems.

The Best Economic Choice

Outside of its superior performance, the CCW drainage board aggregate-free system makes economic common sense. Just one installer can carry a 200 sq. ft roll which is equivalent to a small dump truck for standard aggregate. This zero aggregate is labor-saving and faster installation which adds to the success of the CCW aggregate-free system. CCW is the leader in the market for innovative drainage solutions.

About CCW 2000

CCW 2000 is a medium flow drainage compound made of long-lasting nonwoven filter fabric that bonds to the individual dimples of the molded polypropylene core to reduce fabric from getting into the flow channels because of backfill pressure. The filter fabrics also prevent soil particles from passing into the core but allow water to pass through easily. This product is designed to use in vertical single-sided drainage operations. Its standard flow rate and compressive strength make it ideal for use in shallow depths that do not exceed 10-feet where high-flow and high compressive strength requirements do not exist.

It serves as a protection course over CCW waterproofing membranes. The flat side fits flat against wall surfaces, making this product perfect for foundation walls, retaining walls, bridge abutments, and other similar structures.

About CCW 6000/6200

The 6000 is a very strong drainage component made of nonwoven fabric that bonds to the individual dimples of the molded polypropylene core to reduce the presence of fabric getting into the flow channels caused by backfill pressure. The filter fabric also prevents soil particles from entering into the core but allows the free passage of water.

This product is designed to use in high-flow, compression strength, vertical drainage operations where single-sided subsurface drainage is required. It also serves as a protection course over CCW waterproofing membranes.

The flat side of the 600 fits snugly against wall surfaces, making this product perfect for foundation walls, retaining walls, bridge abutments, and other similar structures.
