DELTA DRAIN 6000 HI-X is a three-dimensional, 2-layer drainage composite. It consists of a dimpled drainage core and a high strength needle-punched polypropylene (PP) geotextile (nonwoven) with excellent filter characteristics. The drainage core is made from a special co-polymer polypropylene that provides high impact and tear resistance, and is unaffected by environmental stress cracking. The non-clogging geotextile is fully bonded to the dimpled drainage core, which prevents it from being pushed into the flow channels by the load of the overburden material.

  • Non-woven, needle-punched geotextile prevents the passage of soil particles but allows water to pass freely, ensuring that the drainage core will not get clogged
  • Core provides a continuous path for water discharge, eliminating the potential for build-up of hydrostatic pressure
  • Geotextile is fully bonded to the drainage core, which prevents it from being pushed into the flow channels by the load from adjacent back-fill material
  • Extremely high compressive strength (>15,000 psf) – can be used at installation depths of 45 ft. and more
  • One of the only drainboards on today's market made out of a special copolymer polypropylene, which is dramatically stronger than polystyrene imitators, resisting jobsite damage and rough handling
  • Unaffected by environmental stress cracking
  • Highly effective drainage system for underground wall construction, pile and lagging wall drainage, retaining walls, bridge abutments, and as relief layer for hydrostatic pressure on any subsurface structure
